If someone
1 is not a Taiwanese
2 and does't speak mandarain
3 or both 1 and 2
but attend the YTSA activities,
will you feel a bit weird about his participation?
please not only 版主 give comments... but I want to hear some real member's opinions
2. As being a taiwanese, how do you think a typical taiwanese
a. girl
b. boy
can be distinguished from other chinese like malaysian/ singaporian chinese, mainland chinese, and chinse who speaks cantonese?

1.There's nothing wrong for people who isn't a Taiwanese/ and doesnt speak mandarain to attend our activities, we welcome all kinds of people to participate. Personally, I don't think the nationality makes much difference, I had chinese and korean roomates before, and i get along with them pretty well.
2.As for how to distinguished who's a typical Taiwanese or not? It's not that hard to see the difference. For most people, just listen to the way they talk, the accent and the dialect they use, and also for some people, you'll know where they are come from just by their look.

Just like what Wayne said, YTSA welcomes anyone who comes to our activities and have fun with us.
And there isn't really much difference between mainland china, Taiwan, HK people. The only differences are our language, culture, looks, etc. Our personalities are not depending on our nation, races, and culture entirely, so better not judge a person by their background :P.
